The Fear that Triggers the Revolt: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014) directed by Francis Lawrence and written by Peter Craig and Danny Strong is the film adaptation of the homonym novel by Suzanne Collins and the sequel to the film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) and The Hunger Games (2012). The movie begins with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) who is in shock and does not understand why Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) was abandoned. Some men take her by force and bring her back to bed. Later the protagonist goes to visit Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) who is also in shock because they have captured Annie Cresta (Stef Dawson). Everyone is underground in District 13 because the city is destroyed and this is where Katniss meets President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore). Immerse yourself in this adventure to discover the fear that triggers the revolt in this dystopian post-apocalyptic future. A beautiful film where the protagonist like Jeanne d'Arc is a source of inspiration for the masses while in juxtaposition there is Peeta who supports the “terrorism” that is executing the rioters with their heads covered. Interesting is the use of cinema with special effects, emotions and this screen live streaming everywhere that reminds Big Brother.
