The Disease of Love: Tutta colpa di Freud/Blame Freud

Blame Freud or Tutta colpa di Freud (2014) written and directed by Paolo Genovese is a film that contains the disease of love, or those problems of love that today's society faces. The movie begins in New York with Sara (Anna Foglietta) who introduces herself with the voice-over confessing that she has no goals. The film continues in Rome where this time there is Marta (Vittoria Puccini) who has a bookshop and Emma (Laura Adriani) that is about to get her high school diploma. All three are Francesco's (Marco Giallini) daughters who separated by the time is now a psychoanalyst. It is funny that everyone in the family has love problems because Francesco chases Mrs. Claudia (Claudia Gerini), Emma is dating Alessandro (Alessandro Gassmann) a 50-year-old architect, Sara wants to marry a girl and Marta has fallen in love with a writer. Immerse yourself in this story to find out how things will change in the family. I loved the movie as it shows interesting aspects such as a modern father and friend, marital problems, the change in sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual, sign language through a deaf-mute character. Beautiful theatre performance towards the end. I highly recommend it.
